Here are the kids enjoying the ballet show...Camden was like "uh, I guess it's ok" but the girls loved it! they are in ballet classes so it was more meaningful...this was their first ballet performance, and they got homeschool "fine arts" credit for attending!

Ballet Picture...

I'll spare you too many details, but this is the guy in tights that gave Little John nightmares!

Men in tights??

So the family went to see the Nutcracker Ballet in Erie PA this week..it was so much fun!! Baxley fell asleep, and Little John said he wanted to go home and shoot rabbits or something to redeem his masculinity...He thought that the guy in the white tights was not wearing underwear, and that was disturbing to him! :-)

Little man...big snowball! Little John was playing in the snow last week, it was about 34 degrees outside and he was in heaven! we got about 6 inches this day, and all the kids had a blast. Baxley hated the snow and cried to come inside...but then again, she looked like Ralphie's brother all bundled up...she couldnt even put her arms down! :-)

Baxley, the future computer programmer...

Baxley was missing, and after much searching here is where we found the little booger...on the computer (selling her bottle on e-bay I'm sure!) I have no idea how she learned the "pose" with one hand on the mouse, but they sure do learn quickly!

Cant forget Bill

Bill is such a character! He and John have a great relationship, and used to be youth pastors together in 1999. They are both "daddy day care" right now while the wives work. :-) Bill is often loud (he's Greek) and never fails to get noticed! But he is also a super dad, and he used to meet homeless guys for lunch, and witness to them...that's pretty cool don't you think?

More Thanksgiving

Mrs Marilyn is the best pie maker in western PA, she would never admit it but her pecan pie is the reason we moved up here..honest!

Beside her is her daughter Amy, our really good friend and their youngest daughter Faith.

Thanksgiving with the Blinns

Mr Judd and his wife Marilyn had us over for thanksgiving...yum...Mr Judd is like an adopted grandfather to us and our kids. I have never met another man as pleasant as Mr Judd...Isn't he great! He is a farmer with 100 acres of beautiful farm land.

Another snowy picture!

you can really see the snow in this one..we are hoping for a
few feet this winter! Gotta love Pennsylvania! The forecast is for
about 30 degrees all week, one day in the 50's, but rainy..brrrr.

Just another day in Paradise!!

The snow is falling all around the young-ish love birds! told ya there would be more snow!!
John is pretty proud of these two trees as well! he will proudly tell you he planted them himself!

Just a little Snow!! can you see it?

We got our first snow today! just about a half an hour's worth...then it melted..

don't worry! there's more where that came from!

Baxley is also enjoying this time of year..she was enjoying butternut squash like it was the best thing she ever ate! John said it tasted like baby food! Maybe that's why she liked it!

Camden just celebrated her
4th birthday! She had it at Krispy Kreme! We ate so many donuts we almost puked! She made her own donuts in the back of the store as well as had a donut eating contest!

Cyber school field trip...

Since the kids are doing cyber school (kind of like homeschool but the curriculum and computers are provided for free), we took a field trip to the museum of natural history. The kids saw dinosaurs, mummy's and native american art. They had a blast!

Football Family

We had another WINNING game last weekend! I had the notorious cow bell :-) and baxley was enjoying a lollipop dipped in dirt! Football season is so much fun! Next year John will be playing at the junior high level, I can't wait!

Go Chiefs!

Little John just finished a winning game! He starts at center, noseguard and right tackle! Every game he has several assisted tackles and at least one by himself! He is growing up so fast!

So glad you stopped in!

So here you go! A place to stop and see what we are up to...It's guaranteed to change on a daily basis, so check back often!

Here is the summary of what is going on with us right now! (hold on to your seat!)

  • John is working on his MBA and I am working on my BSN...both of us are full time students again. Both of us will graduate in the Spring.
  • The kids start "cyber school" on the 4th of September which is basically like homeschool except the state provides the curriculum, the computers and a teacher who guides you online every step of the way..it's an alternative to putting the kids in public school, but still gives validity to their education. they will be taking Spanish classes and computer classes as well so they will actually be getting a little more than what public school offers.
  • We have a puppy named buddy, pictures to follow.......who is 5 months old..what were we thinking???
  • Renee is working full time, John is starting a new church.. www.focuscommunitychurch.com ..stop by and visit the site..:-)
  • Did I mention that we are raising 5 kids??

Keep us in your prayers...we need them! Life is hectic, but good! Everyone is healthy and happy which is all you can ask for.

Keep in touch!

Renee
